On June 9th 2009, Veronica was dropped off at Vancouver International Airport by a family friend. She was supposed to board a flight to Toronto, Ontario. Veronica was reported missing when she did not arrive in Toronto. Since that time, Veronica has stayed in touch with family periodically. However, she has not contacted her family recently.
The subsequent investigation has led police and her family to discount her disappearance as being the result of foul play. It is likely that Veronica has voluntarily chosen to severe contact. As with any adult who voluntarily disappears, Veronica has not committed any crime.
The police would like to speak with Veronica, or anyone who knows of her current whereabouts. Their only interest is to verify Veronica's well-being. The police will not reveal her current location.
Veronica is originally from Ontario. While there is nothing to suggest that she has returned to Ontario, the possibility cannot be definitively ruled out.
