On the day of her disappearance, Frances accompanied her husband to a medical appointment in Peterborough. On their drive home, the Harrises stopped in Lakefield.

The couple returned home at approximately 11:00 a.m. After having lunch at home, Mr. Harris went to work from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.

The Harrises' son returned home from school at 3:40 p.m. His mother was not home and has not been seen since.
