On the day of his disappearance, William was boating with his daughter on Panache Lake. After being thrown into the water, William’s daughter was able to swim to shore.

William was unable to swim to shore and is presumed drowned. His body has not yet been recovered.

Panache Lake is located east of Espanola and west of Sudbury.
