At the time of his disappearance, Gilberto was a student at the University of Ottawa. His area of study is Chemistry.

On the day of his disappearance, Gilberto sent a text to his roommate at 4:00 a.m. In it, Gilberto said that he was going for a walk and ‘not to worry’.

Gilberto is an avid video game player as several of his tattoos are inspired by these games.

The “N7” is taken from the game Mass Effect game.
“Majora’s Mask” appears in the game Zelda.
Gilberto’s leg tattoo is the logo of a rebel group named ‘Fireflies’ that appears in the game Last of Us.

Police and Gilberto’s family would like to speak with anyone who knows of Gilberto’s whereabouts or has seen/spoken with him since his disappearance. His disappearance is out of character. His family and police would like to verify his well-being.
