Additional Information : | On the day of his disappearance, Stanley was fishing with two men who were vacationing in the area. While on the Berens River, the group approached Whitedog Falls. After the first successful approach, the men decided to approach the falls a second time. As they neared the falls, their motor stopped working. As a result, all three men were swept over the falls. Two of the men were able to take hold of life jackets and stay afloat. Stanley was able to swim for several minutes and then disappeared in the water. Despite a ground and air search, Stanley was not found and presumed drowned. |
