Claire was last seen at her uncle’s residence in St. Catharines.  At the time of her disappearance, Claire may have been suicidal and depressed.  She had been showing a fascination with the deaths and suicides of several relatives that involved water.

In the week prior to her disappearance, Claire’s father picked her up in Niagara Falls.  She reportedly said, “God told me to throw my body on the rocks to free my soul.”

Claire was living with schizophrenia, but had not been taking her medication when she went missing.
