Steven was last seen at a friend’s residence shortly before midnight on December 23rd, 2000 in North Bay. When he left the home, Steven was driving his stepfather’s 1990 Ford Bronco.

After midnight, patrol officers observed a Ford Bronco being driven by a male suspected of being impaired. Although they attempted, they were not able to stop the vehicle.

On December 24, 2000, the abandoned Bronco was found in the area of Lake Nosbonsing Road, approximately 200 metres east of the Highway 11/654 exit. There was nothing to suggest that the driver had suffered any injury and he likely left on foot. Police were able to establish that Steven had been driving the Ford Bronco and had taken the vehicle without the owner’s consent. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued but police were unable to locate Steven at the time.

Steven is originally from Cochrane, Ontario but grew up in North Bay. He attended Widdifield Secondary School. His interests include fishing, snowmobiling, mountain biking and visiting with friends.

Although Steven has not been seen since December 2000, he was not reported missing until October 2014. Police would like to speak with anyone who had contact with Steven prior to his disappearance or knowing his current whereabouts.
