On the day of his death, this unidentified man was  near St. Basil the Great College in the Humberlea area of Toronto.

According to media reports, the man was sitting against a retaining wall and eating near the railway tracks.  He drew a large kitchen knife when approached by police and was ultimately shot by police.

The unidentified man was known to use several aliases, including John Doe.   To date, the man is yet unidentified.
