The body of this unidentified man was recovered from the western shore of Fighting Island by LaSalle, Ontario.

Fighting Island is located in the middle of the Detroit River, directly across from Wyandotte, Michigan just south of Detroit.

Although he was located on the Canadian side of the river, he may be a missing U.S. citizen.
