The body of this unidentified man was recovered from the waters of Lake Erie, 8.4 km (5.2 miles) east of the Detroit River and 4.8 km (3 miles) south of Holiday Beach in Malden Township.

Although only partial remains were recovered, his estimated weight should be considered an underestimate.

The investigation has determined that this unidentified man was the victim of foul play.
