On September 22, 2013, divers recovered an upper arm bone in the Niagara River. The bone was located in 47 feet of water and 19 minutes from the shore. The location is approximately one km north of East/West Line.

An examination of the bone revealed that it is likely that of a male. It is possibly from a black male.

Despite efforts to recover additional, no further bones were recovered.
